Romeo and Juliet '24

You can gather in groups of 2 or work individually, in order to do the different tasks about Romeo & Juliet.

The main task will be the preparation of an oral presentation about any aspect of the seen in the following webquest on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

You have to visit the webquest, enter the section Process and do ONLY ONE of the different group activities:

(Shakespeare's biography).

(Elizabethan age).

(The theatre in Shakespeare's time).

(You can write and record a new ending of the story, but remember that you have to explain the whole process in the presentation before showing the video to the class).

E. (The medieval life). Click here for the information.

(Any other activity related to the previous ones). Ask your teacher.

At the end of the project, in the presentation, you have to defend the part of the work you have done. Remember that you have to prepare a speech of about 4 minutes per person. This presentation is an exam, so DON'T READ or you will be invited to sit down and won't pass!

Enjoy Shakespeare!

This is the book we will read in class on Thursdays.

(We will start the presentations on 16 May 2024)

And to finish with the book, a last activity...

Gather in groups of 4 students and write the dialogues for a new ending to the story including a minimum cast of 4 characters. Remember that the new ending has to be a funny one!

You will have to read it aloud in class. You have two class sessions to prepare, rehearse and produce it.
