Hi, class! Once we finish The Picture of Dorian Gray the moment for an exam will have arrived. The activity we want you to carry out is an oral presentation. We would like you to prepare a 4-5 minutes speech per person about one of the following topics:
- The time and place of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
- The Author (life and literary works).
- Elements and atmosphere present in a horror film and in the book. (Pink Panic)
- Tell us about a horror film or book.
- Victorian Theatre and entertainment.
- Tell us about any scary experience you have had.
- Write and explain a new ending for the story.
- The roles of Dorian, Basil, Lord Henry, Sibyl.
- The role of women in Victorian England.
- Comparison between the film and the book.
- Any other idea related to the previous ones. (ask your teacher).
We will start the presentations on the 15th January.
Remember to prepare the list of vocabulary!!
Remember that you can work in groups of 2 people... or work individually.
